Polyester Draw Textured Yarn commonly known as Polyester DTY, is manufactured by processing Polyester POY. The yarn develops a texture by twisting and drawing it at the same time using heat. The yarn develops texture by a process involving hot drawing, twisting, thermosetting and de-twisting.Textured filament yarn obtained by heat setting in a twisted condition to give greater bulk, higher stretch and more pleasing aesthetics.(Notes: 1. One Heater Draw Textured Yarn(DTY) is normally woolly & more stretchable as compared to Draw Textured Yarn(DTY) with two Heaters. 2. Draw Textured Yarn (DTY) is obtained when Polyester POY is simultaneously twisted and drawn.)
Polyester Draw Textured Yarn (DTY) is a continuous multi filament yarn that has been processed to introduce durable crimps twists, interlaces, loops or other fine distortions along the lengths of the filament.
